Teacher Review for Stop Disasters!

The stop disasters program is a great way to teach preparedness for disasters in a fun way.

How I Use It

I used the stop disasters game in a whole group setting. The students were very engaged and like the video game style. They learned very quickly what they needed to do and what the word disaster means. It went very well in all facets.

My Take

I really enjoyed using stop disasters in every way. It is a great way to teach social studies/government skills and teach them ways to be prepared in and outside of school for disasters. I would like to have more resources to use in follow up lessons or to have the students work on at a later time.
